Special Creams and Ointments

Our gray range contains special skin care products, most of which have specific skin-protecting ingredients suitable for bedridden patients or others with sensitive skin. The products are, however, suitable for both normal and dry skin, and they are all dermatologically tested and pH adjusted.

Product range

Skincare Ointment

  • ABENA Skincare Ointment contains 41% lipids, which makes it ideal for dry and/or irritated skin.
  • It has outstanding barrier properties from initial application and up to 8 hours.
  • Can be used all over the body e.g., on dry hands and feet, for IAD patients, as a lip balm, or for dry shins during the winter.
  • Without color and perfume.

Zinc Oxide Spray 10 %

  • ABENA Zinc Oxide Spray containing 10% zinc protects and regenerates the skin, promoting a natural skin restoration for up to 24 hours.
  • Thanks to the spray applicator, friction is minimized, it is easier to make sure the right amount of product is used and the applicator also helps to prevent contamination.
  • Possible to see through the zinc since it is sprayed in a thin layer and then you can observe the skin from redness.
  • Without color or perfume.

Active Gel

  • With natural essential oils like peppermint, eucalyptus and menthol.
  • The gel contains cooling and moisturizing ingredients.
  • Suitable for massaging joints and muscles.
  • Without color and perfume.

Zink Ointment

  • ABENA Zinc Ointment is ideal for skin that requires barrier care.
  • It provides a protective barrier to the skin for up to 8 hours.
  • The product contains 20% Zinc Oxide, which is known for its antiseptic properties and helps calm irritated and/or red skin.
  • Can be used for wound care since it leaves a thin barrier on the skin and is good to use on the wound edges to keep the skin dry.
  • Without color and perfume.
 

Intensive Care Cream

  • ABENA Intensive Care is ideal for dry skin and to help restore the skin’s natural moisture level.
  • The high lipid content of 70% helps to improve skin hydration and texture, creating a barrier, without leaving a greasy feel on the skin.
  • It has outstanding barrier properties from initial application and up to 8 hours.
  • It can be used all over the body but since the lipid content is very high the product is really good on very dry skin, feet and hands.
  • Without color and perfume.

Barrier Ointment

  • ABENA Barrier Ointment is ideal for dry skin and to help restore the skin’s natural moisture level.
  • The lipid content of 33%, together with the ointment combination, helps to improve skin hydration and texture, creating a barrier without leaving a greasy feel on the skin.
  • Without color and perfume.

Dry Pads for Moisture Absorption

  • ABENA Dry Pads help prevent skin irritation caused by moisture buildup.
  • Can minimize skin friction between skin and skinfolds.
  • It is convenient and easy to use.
  • It absorbs moisture and odor.

Moisturizer for IAD care

Our gray range is great for residents struggling with Incontinence Associated Dermatitis (IAD). It supports the overall care routine, which includes three steps.

In the third step, these products provide moisture and create a barrier to help restore and protect the skin.
